Pet Portraits
Pet Portraits make wonderful gifts for loved ones (or yourself)! I firmly believe that pets
play a vital role in family life. Often they are not merely "pets," but cherished members
of the family. A pet portrait is visual proof of this fact for many animal lovers.

People have commissioned me to paint their pet for any number of reasons. Sometimes
their pet is getting on in years and they want to capture his essence before he or she
reaches the Rainbow Bridge. Other times they just want to honor their pet's importance
in their family. I love painting pets because I love animals, plain and simple. I love
bringing joy to the recipient's eyes because I've captured the animal's likeness and
personality.

If you would like me to paint your pet, please send me several photos, if possible. I like
to have a few different views so that I may observe color, fur patterns and facial
expressions. Photos taken without a flash are preferable. You may mail photos to my
studio address, or simply e-mail them to me. I will return any photos that you send me
via mail.

Paintings are done in acrylic on canvas and are available in several sizes. To begin the
painting, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit.  Before payment of balance, I will email
you a photo of the painting for your approval. At that time, you may make suggestions.
Balance and shipping are due at completion of the painting, before it is shipped.

For pricing information, please contact me. Price is determined by canvas size and the
number of pets in the painting. I have painted as many as five dogs in one piece. You can
